Sara’s background is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Emotion Focused Therapy. Each person comes to therapy as a unique individual – Sara works with those individual characteristics to assist patients in creating insight, gaining deeper self-awareness and empowering themselves to make choices that will lead to a fulfilled meaningful life. Through clinical counselling, trust in self and others can be experienced, so the joy of relationships and a sense of effectiveness can be attained or re-established.
Sara believes that counselling means providing a safe place for patients to express themselves; to encourage a conversation and to work together.
