Cammy graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM) and received the Diploma for Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She had the privilege of completing an internship program at the Tzu Chi General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan to round out her studies and is currently registered with the CTCMA as a practicing Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Fascinated by the rich and holistic foundations that TCM was built on, Cammy continues to fuel her passion for TCM with extensive and ongoing academic pursuits, with the most recent being related to Contemporary Pulse Diagnosis and Advanced Integrated Cupping Therapy (Traditional East-West Cupping and Modern Cupping).
AREAS OF PRACTICE:
Cammy treats a variety of health concerns including anxiety, depression and sleep disorders, migraines, PMS and gynecological disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction and more. Regular treatments can also be beneficial for those interested in managing the symptoms of daily stress, chronic pain, improving digestive health and boosting overall energy. Modalities used may include Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha (scraping), Electrical Stimulation and Chinese Herbal Therapy. Collaboration with other health care professionals in the co-management of a patient’s condition is also encouraged to optimize treatment results. Cammy believes that the best results involve empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery and provides TCM-based lifestyle/dietary recommendations tailored to each patient’s constitution.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Cammy has a profound appreciation for hot coffee on a rainy day. She believes a well-rounded life offers the best opportunities for the mind and body to thrive, and loves being outdoors with friends as much as possible. She enjoys working out, traveling to anywhere with a beach, eating at new restaurants and walking her two dogs.
